About the Role: Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and motivated Unqualified Teacher to join their team. This full-time role will commence in September 2024, offering you the chance to deliver lessons and support students’ learning under the guidance of experienced teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver prepared lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task.
- Support students with their learning, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Monitor and record students’ progress and provide feedback to senior staff.
Requirements:
- Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
- Current safeguarding training is essential.
- Previous experience working with children and young people is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and patient approach to supporting students’ learning.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a willingness to develop your skills in education.
