Position Overview: We are looking for passionate individuals to work as Secondary School Teaching Assistants in Brighton. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours, immediate start dates, and competitive rates of pay. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both academically and pastorally, ensuring they receive the guidance and assistance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to students in their academic studies, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
• Offer pastoral support to students, promoting their well-being and personal development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children and young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in students’ lives.
