As a Teaching Assistant for SEND, you’ll play a key role in supporting students’ learning and helping them succeed.
What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated individual who can:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND.
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities to support individual needs.
- Promote independence, confidence, and social development in students.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement strategies and support plans.
- Assist with managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive, focused learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- A caring and patient nature with a passion for supporting students with SEND.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with SEND students is preferred but not essential.
