About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide valuable support to students and teaching staff, ensuring a positive and engaging learning experience. Your role will involve working closely with students who may require additional help and contributing to their educational and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in their learning during lessons, either one-to-one or in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- Promote students’ confidence, independence, and engagement in school life.
Requirements:
- A DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential.
