Position Overview
At our school, we offer a truly specialist type of education. We have developed a world-class range of specialist services that are necessary to meet the needs of our children and young people.
The Education Assistant’s role is vital in ensuring that they can go to school to learn, make friends and have fun.
As an Education Assistant, you will support the teacher in creating opportunities for the young people to learn, each in their own way. As well as supporting teaching, you will be trained by nurses, therapists and senior staff to carry out many other activities to support with eating and drinking, personal care and manual handling. You will need to be flexible, creative, and patient with a keen eye for detail. It’s hard work and requires commitment but it’s a hugely fulfilling job.
If you demonstrate a high level of skill at the interview and have relevant prior experience, you may be eligible to start your employment with us as a Specialist Education Assistant.

Working Pattern
This is a term time-only contract: 32.5 hours per week (5 days per week). All roles are based on site.
