Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £30,680 – £37,440 per annum

Our school is a small, independent special school providing personalised education for up to 14 pupils aged 8-18 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and complex needs. Many of our students have faced significant trauma and adverse childhood experiences, so we prioritise a trauma-informed approach, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to students’ individual needs.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Provide personalised support in small groups and 1:1 settings.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including education and therapy professionals, parents, and local authorities, to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Use a creative and holistic approach to teaching, integrating enrichment activities and community-based learning opportunities.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching students with SEN, particularly those with SLD and complex needs.
Ability to create a stimulating and interactive classroom environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A supportive and collaborative working environment.
Extensive therapeutic training and ongoing professional development.
