Our Client’s School is on a journey and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to help us on our way.
This role is full-time, and a temporary position until January. There may be an option of continuing further if it suits both parties.
£33’000-£42’000pa equivalent daily pay.
Working with our headteacher, you will join a rapidly changing and improving school and be well supported by our governing body and colleagues in all aspects of your professional development. You will be warmly greeted by our pupils and parents alike and our beautiful grounds and location provide excellent stimulus for a rich and vibrant curriculum. The school is specifically for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent, experienced and resilient SENDCO who can demonstrate management skills in Inclusion and help shape excellent classroom provision and support.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong roots in classroom practice and is able to support staff in creating inclusive classrooms
• Has high expectations of all children, regardless of their starting point
• Has experience in leading SEND provision
* Can show impact in their SEND roles
• Be committed to working with others
• Is a hardworking, imaginative thinker who has excellent organisational and time management skills
• Is committed to supporting all aspects of the school’s work, especially its caring Christian ethos
The role does not have a teaching commitment and the candidate will form part of the school leadership team. The right candidate should also have experience in Safeguarding and working with a variety of outside agencies. Applicants must have the SENDCO qualification.
