SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Chichester.

About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to students with a variety of SEND needs, ensuring they have access to a positive learning environment.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons to meet student needs.
• Support students in both one-on-one and group settings, fostering their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with the wider school team to promote inclusivity and achievement for all learners.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Pay: £84 per day
• Location: Chichester

Requirements:

• A valid DBS on the update service.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Ideally, a minimum of 2 months’ experience working with SEND learners.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude to support students with diverse needs.
