Teaching Assistant for SEND
Location: Eastbourne | Pay: £84 – £90 per day

As a Teaching Assistant for SEND, you’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your Role
We’re looking for a committed individual who can:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with SEND.
- Assist in delivering personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills in students.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement effective strategies and support plans.
- Help maintain a positive, focused classroom environment by managing behavior effectively.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A DBS certificate registered on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- A caring, patient, and passionate attitude toward supporting SEND students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience with SEND students (preferred but not essential).
