We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team and assist in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging and interactive lessons, providing support to secondary school students across various subjects.
Assist in implementing differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students, encouraging academic growth and achievement.
Provide individualised support to students, helping them to develop key literacy, numeracy, and study skills necessary for success in secondary education.
Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, cooperation, and active participation among students.
Assist in the organisation and preparation of learning materials, resources, and activities, ensuring they align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all learners.
Support students with additional needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, by implementing tailored strategies and accommodations.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration to support student learning and well-being.

Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working with students, preferably in a secondary school setting. (desired)
A genuine passion for education and a desire to support the academic and personal development of young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with secondary school students in a positive and supportive manner.
Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to working with adolescents of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Basic knowledge of secondary education principles and practices. (desired)
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment.
