Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement a creative curriculum that inspires students and fosters a love for scientific inquiry and understanding.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in Science education and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desired.
  • Proven experience in teaching Science at the secondary school level.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
