Whether you hold QTS or have a strong academic background in Science with relevant teaching or coaching experience, we welcome your application. Strong behaviour management skills are essential to ensure a positive and focused classroom environment.
Day to day:
- Teaching Science to KS3 & KS4 students
- Planning and delivering dynamic, hands-on lessons that encourage scientific thinking and problem-solving
- Supporting student progress and engagement across all areas of Science
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning space
About you:
- QTS is preferred, though applicants with a strong academic background in Science and experience teaching or coaching secondary school students are encouraged to apply
- Confident in delivering engaging Science lessons and supporting student achievement
- Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive classroom presence
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people
