Role and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, and possibly Key Stage 5.
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment to inspire students’ curiosity and interest in Science.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and participate in department meetings and initiatives.
- Support the school’s ethos of fostering a strong connection with the wider community and engaging in extracurricular activities as required.
Must-Haves:
- Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- DBS: Must be on the Update Service.
- Safeguarding: Up-to-date safeguarding training is required.
- Experience: A proven track record of delivering engaging and effective Science lessons.
