Teacher of Religious Studies (Full-Time, Long-Term) – Crawley

Are you an experienced Religious Studies teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Studies to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting from October.

The Role:

As the Teacher of Religious Studies, you will:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic lessons in line with the UK curriculum, inspiring students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging students to explore a range of religious beliefs and ethical perspectives.
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to create resources and plan schemes of work that align with school values and learning objectives.

Requirements:

• Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Experience teaching Religious Studies in the UK is essential.
• A valid DBS on the update service is required.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
• A passion for education and a commitment to promoting spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development within the curriculum.

Pay Rate:

Salary is in line with the Main Pay Scale (MPS) and Upper Pay Scale (UPS), depending on experience and qualifications.
