Job Title: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants – Secondary Schools

About the Role:

Pink Tile Education is actively seeking enthusiastic Psychology graduates to join our team as Teaching Assistants in secondary schools located in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about utilizing their specialist skills in a school-based environment. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing both pastoral and academic support to pupils within a mainstream school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, fostering positive relationships.
• Provide pastoral support to help students navigate social and emotional challenges.
• Support academic development by assisting with lesson activities and homework.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement strategies that cater to individual learning needs.
• Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with school staff.

Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children and young people.
• Passion for supporting students both academically and pastorally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to the inclusive and positive school environment.

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic educational setting.
