Position: Primary Class Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team, supporting students aged 7–11 including those with special educational needs. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a safe, nurturing environment that promotes student growth and achievement. This school is located on beautiful grounds with farm yard animals. It is an extremely warm and welcoming environment to work in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities, including students with additional needs.
- Supervise teaching assistants and work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive curriculum.
- Provide personalised feedback to help students make rapid progress.
- Support the development of literacy, behaviour, and communication skills.
- Use assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for intervention.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a supportive learning community.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching students, including those with special educational needs.
- Ability to create a stimulating classroom environment that motivates students.
- Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills.
Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:45am – 4:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:45am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay:
- Paid to scale from day one!
- Temp to perm contract
