Job Title: Primary Teacher (Upper KS2) at a SEMH School

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Salary: Surrey Fringe MPS/UPS plus SEN Allowance £2,679 per annum

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and talented Primary Teacher to join our new, robust, and innovative team of dedicated teachers. This role is ideal for an individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of secondary-aged pupils working at a primary level and has experience in Upper KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Upper KS2 pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of small class sizes.

  • Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, providing targeted support to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupils’ well-being and success.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school.

  • Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support pupils’ learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Upper KS2.

  • Proven track record of delivering excellent results and improving pupil outcomes.

  • Strong knowledge of SEMH needs and effective strategies for supporting pupils.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
