Part-Time Maths Teacher

Pink Tile are recruiting for a teacher of Maths to join a prestigious school in West Sussex on a part-time basis from January 2024.

Our client school are looking to appoint an inspirational part time teacher to teach Maths to scholarship level.  This role is initially for 1 term in the first instance with potential for extension over the coming months.

• Inspire pupils in the learning of Maths from Year 6 through to Year 8 and prepare them for Common Entrance or Scholarship exams.
• Teach an appropriate timetable agreed by the Head Master.
• Support the Head of Maths and Assistant Head of Maths in planning, teaching and developing the provision of Maths
• Establish high expectations and ensure that clear targets are set for pupil achievement including those with special educational needs and gifted and talented.

As a Maths teacher in this school, you will work alongside your teaching assistants and class teachers and the Learning Enrichment Department.  Be a form teacher in years 5 to 8 with associated duties, and maintaining good behaviour and respect for others among pupils.
