As a Maths Tutor, you will play a key role in supporting secondary school students’ learning and fostering their enthusiasm for Maths.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing one-to-one tutoring and teaching small classes of up to four students.
- Supporting and upskilling secondary school students from levels 2 and 3 to level 4.
- Creating tailored lesson plans to address individual and group learning needs.
- Helping students build confidence in Maths and develop problem-solving skills.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them achieve their goals.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Some experience tutoring or teaching Maths (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with secondary school students.
- A genuine passion for Maths and education.
- A DBS certificate on the update service (essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (essential).
