A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hailsham is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team, delivering engaging and effective lessons to Key Stage 3 & 4 students. This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Whether you hold QTS or have a strong academic background in Maths with relevant teaching or coaching experience, we welcome your application. Strong behaviour management skills are essential to ensure a positive and focused classroom environment.
Day to day:
- Teaching Maths to KS3 & KS4 students
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support and challenge learners
- Supporting student progress and building confidence in numeracy
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning atmosphere
About you:
- QTS is preferred, though applicants with a strong academic background in Maths and experience teaching or coaching secondary school students are encouraged to apply
- Confident in delivering Maths lessons and supporting student achievement
- Strong behaviour management skills and classroom presence
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people
