Maths Specialist

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of students who need extra support and guidance in Maths? We are seeking a dedicated Maths Specialist to join a wonderful team at a secondary school in St Leonard’s, delivering high-impact teaching to groups of up to 4 students and/ or 1:1 support.

About the Role:

In this rewarding role, you will work with students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them bridge gaps in their understanding and build their confidence in Maths. You’ll work with small classes of up to 4 students and also provide 1:1 support to help students progress from Level 2 and 3 to Level 4.

This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in nurturing academic growth, empowering students to succeed, and delivering lessons tailored to their individual needs.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about education and has the expertise and enthusiasm to inspire and support students. You must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Previous experience tutoring Maths, teaching Maths, or a strong academic background in Maths with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4 content.
• Skills: Excellent communication and teaching skills, with a nurturing and supportive approach to learning.
• DBS Requirement: A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service or the willingness to obtain one.

Pay and Hours:

• Pay: £95 – £100 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Hours: Flexible working options available.
