Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant / Maths Intervention Specialist

A highly regarded secondary school in Crawley is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from April 2025. Role Details:

  • Position: Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant / Maths Intervention Specialist
  • Start Date: April 2025
  • Location: Crawley
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM start
  • Pay Rate: £84 per day
  • Requirements:
    • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
    • Experience working with children or young people (ideally secondary school age).
    • A DBS on the update service.
    • Up-to-date safeguarding training.

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide targeted intervention support to students in Maths, working one-to-one or in small groups to boost understanding and confidence.
  • Assist teachers in delivering high-quality Maths lessons, helping to engage and inspire students.
  • Support students preparing for exams, focusing on key concepts and problem-solving techniques.
  • Work with students of varying abilities, including those who may need additional help to reach their potential.
