Position Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the school’s SEND department, providing additional support to academically able pupils who require assistance throughout their studies. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, starting in January 2024, offering a unique chance to make a lasting impact on students’ educational journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with academically able pupils in Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Provide tailored support to students who require additional assistance.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the SEND department to implement individualized learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Assist in monitoring and tracking student progress.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Understanding of the needs of academically able students requiring additional support.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for facilitating student success.
