Littlehampton Primary School is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join our vibrant team from September 2024. This full-time role is integral to supporting our students across all school years, fostering a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the class teacher to support students in their learning.
• Provide individualized support through 1:1 sessions and small group work.
• Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach in identifying and addressing the needs of pupils.
• Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a DBS on the update service.
• A minimum of 6 weeks of UK school-based experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of effective support strategies for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
