About the Role:
As a Teacher of Languages, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality lessons that motivate and engage students. Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will inspire students to develop their language skills and deepen their cultural understanding. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success and development of the languages department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons in French and Spanish
- Support students to achieve their full potential through creative and effective teaching strategies.
- Foster a love of languages and promote cultural awareness within the school.
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular language activities.
- Uphold the school’s values and high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A proven ability to teach at least one language at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- A current DBS certificate on the Update Service (essential).
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
