Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Lower School
Full-Time | Immediate Start | £120-£130 per day

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our unique and innovative school, known for its project-based learning approach. This full-time role focuses on supporting students in the lower school, where young learners are encouraged to explore, discover, and thrive in a dynamic educational setting.

About the Role:
As a HLTA in the lower school, you will be an essential part of the teaching team, helping to deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to young learners. You will support classroom teachers, lead small group activities, and assist in planning lessons that stimulate curiosity and a love of learning. Your role will also include providing one-on-one support, covering classes when necessary, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience working as a HLTA or in a similar educational role, especially with younger children.
  • A current DBS on the update service and up-to-date safeguarding training.
  • An enthusiastic, adaptable, and caring individual passionate about early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
