Food Teacher or HLTA – Specialist Provision in Worthing

We are seeking a dedicated Food Teacher or HLTA to join a specialist provision in Worthing, starting in January 2025. This full-time, long-term role is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and support students in a nurturing environment.

The Role:

• Delivering the Food Technology curriculum to pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Planning and supporting practical, hands-on learning experiences.
• Building strong relationships with pupils to inspire confidence and engagement.
• Encouraging life skills through cooking and food education.

Requirements:

• Experience working with SEMH and SEND pupils.
• A strong understanding of the Food Technology curriculum.
• A passion for working with young people, fostering their personal and academic growth.
• A valid DBS on the update service.

Pay Rates:

• Qualified teachers: Pay to scale.
• HLTA: £115 per day.
