Facility Manager (SEND)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced professional with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to take on a highly impactful role as Facility Manager (SEND) in a specialist education setting in Robertsbridge/ Battle.

The facility provides tailored support for young people aged 11–16 with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), anxiety, and dyslexia. The role involves leading the day-to-day management of this provision, which integrates personalised learning pathways and mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the safe and effective running of the SEND facility, focusing on achieving outstanding outcomes for students.
• Work closely with the SENDCo to deliver tailored learning and support plans aligned with individual EHCPs.
• Manage and support a team of staff, ensuring the highest standard of care and education.
• Act as the main point of contact for parents and external professionals, maintaining strong relationships.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience working within SEND, with particular expertise in ASC and other additional needs.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a challenging and rewarding role.
