We are seeking a passionate Blended Learning English Tutor to join our dedicated team. This role involves working with students who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges, ensuring they have access to high-quality education in both face-to-face and remote settings. The ideal candidate will bring innovation, empathy, and enthusiasm to inspire students and help them succeed in their learning journey.
Prioritise the safety and well-being of all students, ensuring effective safeguarding measures are in place.
Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons tailored to individual student needs, both in-person and online.
Support students in developing confidence, academic skills, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective lesson plans, learning resources, and blended curriculum strategies.
Regularly monitor, assess, and adapt teaching methods to maximise progress for all learners.
Provide individualised education plans (IEPs) that align with student needs, incorporating targets from EHCPs and other relevant resources.
Contribute to the development and review of teaching strategies and practices to ensure ongoing improvement.
Foster strong, supportive relationships with students to encourage their engagement and participation.
Support the school’s vision by actively participating in staff meetings, development opportunities, and wider school initiatives.
A genuine passion for education and supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Innovative teaching approaches, adaptable to diverse learning environments and individual challenges.
