Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Specialist to join our team from September 2024. This role is perfect for both qualified and unqualified teachers who possess a deep understanding of the English curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and marking students’ work, ensuring high educational standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the English curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality teaching to students, fostering a love for English.
• Assess and mark students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Maintain up-to-date safeguarding practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and achieve academic goals.

Requirements:

• Understanding of the English curriculum is essential.
• QTS is not required, but advantageous.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and mark work appropriately.
• Must have a current DBS on the update service.
• Must have up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students at all levels.

Remuneration:

• Pay rate for qualified teachers: MPS/UPS
• Pay rate for unqualified teachers: £120 per day
