Position Overview: We are currently recruiting for a dedicated English Specialist to join a large secondary school in Crowborough. This ongoing full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified English teachers or individuals with a strong knowledge of the English curriculum to make a positive impact within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that engages students and promotes academic growth.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified English teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred.
• Alternatively, unqualified teachers with a solid understanding of the English curriculum are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school setting is advantageous.
• Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student achievement and well-being.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
