What Is a Cover Supervisor?

A cover supervisor is a key member of staff who ensures the smooth running of lessons in the absence of the teacher. While you won’t deliver teaching, you’ll be responsible for:

• Supervising classes.
• Maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment.
• Supporting students in completing pre-set work.
• Managing behavior effectively and ensuring a safe learning environment.

We offer both daily supply cover opportunities and full-time placements, giving you flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A DBS on the update service.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
• A genuine enthusiasm for working with young people and supporting their learning.
