Cover Supervisor

Role: Full-Time, Starting September 2024
Pay: Starting at £105 per day

About the Role: Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This full-time role will commence in September 2024, offering you the chance to play a key role in maintaining continuity in students’ education during teacher absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their learning as needed, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Liaise with teachers and other staff to ensure smooth handover of lesson plans and student information.
- Assist in the implementation of school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have an up-to-date DBS on the update service.
- Current safeguarding training is essential.
- Previous experience working with children and young people is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas and with different age groups.
