As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the continuity of learning, ensuring that students stay engaged and motivated during teacher absences.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking passionate individuals who can:
- Supervise classrooms and support students in their learning while teachers are absent.
- Ensure students remain engaged, focused, and on-task during lessons.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a calm, productive learning environment.
- Offer general assistance to students, encouraging a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure students’ progress continues smoothly.
Essential Requirements
- DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for supporting students and enhancing their learning experience.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational environment is desirable, but not essential.
