As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring that learning continues smoothly in the absence of regular teachers.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can:
- Supervise classes and support students in their learning during teacher absences.
- Ensure students stay engaged and focused on their work.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a calm, productive learning environment.
- Provide general assistance to students and maintain a positive, encouraging attitude.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher and support student progress.
Essential Requirements:
- DBS certificate on the update service (this is essential).
- Up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage groups of students.
- A passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
