Behaviour Mentor – Crawley

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a large and impressive mainstream secondary school in Crawley. Starting in October 2024, this is a full-time position expected to last approximately 1 year, with a pay rate of £84 per day.

The Role: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support in managing their behaviour, helping them to engage positively in their education. You will provide tailored guidance, working one-on-one or with small groups to improve behaviour, build self-esteem, and develop social skills. Your role will also involve supporting classroom teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment and helping students to meet behavioural expectations.

Location:

• Mainstream secondary school in Crawley

Pay:

• £84 per day

Key Requirements:

• At least 6 weeks of experience working with children and young people
• A DBS on the update service is essential
• Up-to-date safeguarding training is required

Start Date:

• October 2024, for approximately 1 year
