Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves providing personalized support to a highlighted pupil who requires assistance both academically and pastorally. As a key member of our support team, you will play a crucial role in helping the student overcome challenges and succeed in their learning journey, spanning both primary and secondary phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to the highlighted pupil, both academically and pastorally.
• Assist with the implementation of personalized learning plans to meet the student’s individual needs.
• Support the student with their academic tasks and help them develop essential skills.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to the student, fostering their well-being and confidence.
• Liaise with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support for the student.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child care are desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students.
