Key Responsibilities: As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, your role is pivotal in supporting students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing tailored support to students, promoting emotional well-being and resilience.
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement strategies that address individual needs.
Assisting in the development of therapeutic interventions and activities to enhance emotional regulation.
Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust and a sense of security.
Demonstrating resilience in the face of challenging situations, inspiring students to overcome obstacles.

Qualifications:

Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications in education or special education (desired but not essential).
