The Role:
As a Compassionate Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support Individual Learning: Work closely with students with SEND, providing tailored support to ensure their unique learning needs are met.
Create Inclusive Spaces: Foster an inclusive classroom environment where diversity is celebrated, and every student feels a sense of belonging.
Promote Independence: Encourage and empower students to develop independence and confidence in their abilities, both academically and socially.
Collaborate with Educators: Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement effective strategies and interventions that enhance the learning experience for students with SEND.
Be a Positive Influence: Infuse positivity into the learning journey, creating a supportive atmosphere where students can flourish.
Requirements:
Passion for SEND: Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Empathy: Exhibit a compassionate and patient approach, understanding the unique challenges faced by students with SEND.
Adaptability: Be adaptable to the ever-changing needs of students and the dynamic nature of a SEND learning environment.
Team Spirit: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team.
