Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with national and state standards.
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that promote the development of physical fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship.
Organise and supervise structured physical activities, including team sports, individual fitness activities, and recreational games.
Assess student performance and progress in physical education through observation, skill demonstrations, and fitness testing.
Provide feedback and support to students to help them set and achieve personal fitness and wellness goals.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and motivated to participate and succeed.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education concepts across the curriculum and promote a holistic approach to student wellness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
QTS
Experience teaching physical education at the elementary, middle, or secondary level.
Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, sports science, and principles of physical fitness.
Ability to effectively manage and supervise students during physical activities and ensure their safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to adopt healthy habits.
