Are you passionate about promoting health and wellness through physical activity? Do you have a knack for inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles? If so, we want you to join our team as a P.E Teacher.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with national and state standards.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that promote the development of physical fitness, motor skills, and sportsmanship.
  • Organise and supervise structured physical activities, including team sports, individual fitness activities, and recreational games.
  • Assess student performance and progress in physical education through observation, skill demonstrations, and fitness testing.
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them set and achieve personal fitness and wellness goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and motivated to participate and succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education concepts across the curriculum and promote a holistic approach to student wellness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • QTS
  • Experience teaching physical education at the elementary, middle, or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, sports science, and principles of physical fitness.
  • Ability to effectively manage and supervise students during physical activities and ensure their safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students to adopt healthy habits.
