Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging science lessons that align with curriculum standards and foster curiosity and critical thinking.
Utilise a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences.
Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations, promoting hands-on inquiry-based learning.
Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to support student growth.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported, valued, and motivated to learn.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and enhance the overall science curriculum.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
QTS
Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a strong knowledge of biology, chemistry, and/or physics.
Familiarity with inquiry-based teaching methods and the integration of technology in science education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with developments in the field of science education.
