Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them reach their full potential? Our client secondary school in Crawley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant for a long-term position starting in September/October 2024.

About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning and promoting positive educational outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students with their learning.
• Working with students on a one-on-one or small group basis to provide tailored support.
• Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress and providing feedback to teachers.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and have a strong understanding of educational support techniques.

• Minimum of 6 weeks UK school-based experience.
• Valid DBS on the update service.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training.
