Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty starting from September 2024. As a Science Teacher at our school, you will have the exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to engage with Key Stage 5. This full-time role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to nurturing the next generation of scientists.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.
  • Cultivate a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking.
  • Tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service.
  • Up to date safeguarding training.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science education.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
