Salary: Competitive rates starting at MPS (Main Pay Scale) from day one of assignment
Required Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) essential
Enhanced DBS: Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Safeguarding Training: Up to date safeguarding training required

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team from September 2024. As an English Teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to also teach at Key Stage 5. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant educational community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential involvement at Key Stage 5.
• Foster a positive learning environment conducive to academic achievement and personal growth.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and promote inclusive learning practices.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider curriculum and school initiatives.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance on the Update Service.
• Up to date safeguarding training.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to nurturing a love for learning.
