Our client school in Worthing is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2024. This is a full-time, temporary position initially, with the potential for extension based on performance and school needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials and schemes of work.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the mathematics curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching mathematics at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
