We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Cover Supervisor at a secondary school in Hailsham. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role is ideal for those with experience working with children and young people who are looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes across various subjects and year groups.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure that students remain on task.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
• Provide support to students who require assistance with their work.
• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure effective delivery of curriculum content.
• Complete administrative tasks as required, such as taking registers and reporting back to teaching staff.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
