Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating high-quality English lessons that engage and inspire students across various year groups and abilities.
- Fostering a love for literature and language through creative and stimulating teaching methods.
- Supporting students in developing their literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and confidence in written and verbal communication.
- Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the development and enhancement of the English curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Specialism in English Language and Literature.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A full Enhanced DBS check.
