Position Overview: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance required to thrive academically and socially. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a well-regarded SEND department within a school that prioritizes inclusivity and student welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create and implement individualized education plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in the development of students’ social and life skills.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
• Promote a culture of respect, understanding, and diversity within the school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience working with special needs students is highly desirable.
• Relevant qualifications in special education or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
