Our client, a welcoming secondary school in Brighton, is seeking a passionate and qualified Health and Social Care Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position starting in September 2024, dedicated to delivering the Health and Social Care curriculum to a diverse range of student abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Student Development: Support and guide students in their academic and personal development.
- Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their potential.
- Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to up-to-date safeguarding practices.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and contribute to the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- DBS Check: Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Safeguarding Training: Must have up-to-date safeguarding training.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
