Job Title: Part-Time Childcare Teaching Assistant

We are searching for imaginative individuals to lead after school sessions, creating a vibrant and fun environment for children to explore, play, and grow. This is your chance to help shape a fresh and innovative program that will make a difference in their local community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safety and wellbeing of 16 children as they participate in various activities.
  • Implement the school’s planned schedule, ensuring that each activity runs smoothly.
  • Create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and supported.
  • Prepare and serve healthy snacks, considering children’s dietary needs.
  • Encourage positive interactions among children, fostering a cooperative spirit.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children in environments like schools, nurseries, or sports clubs.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills.
  • A proactive, positive attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Due to the school’s location, having your own transport is advised.
  • Pediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • A clear and current DBS check.
